Filling your spiritual cup


In the years of my borderline atheism I did not believe in the existence of your “spiritual cup”  I didn’t really believe there was anyone  there to fill that cup up with anything so how could there even be a cup?  It’s been over six years since the night I found out there was someone there and that there certainly was such a thing as a spiritual cup.  It absolutely DOES exist. Zach…..Fed Up with his addictions


I’ve come to believe that there are no coincidences in life.  People are brought into our lives for a specific reason.  It’s all preordained in my honest opinion.  When I was given the idea of The Micah Principle I was told that it means “Though I fall I will rise again”, meaning simply that we all fall down in life but that we MUST get back up. I was told that the purpose of it was to gather stories from people who have done just that and to publish them here.  The end result of it would be to inspire others and give them hope….to help them understand that if someone else overcame an obstacle or tragedy in their life that they can, too.

I had a little revelation recently about how I define myself. This light bulb that went off over my head came after I had left church.  I talked to the pastor about The Micah Principle and explained to him what it was, how it came about through divine inspiration and what I wanted it to be. Stepping out of your comfort zone


We all have that safe place in our lives known as our comfort zone.  That’s the place we know that we have control.  We’re in charge while we’re in our safe place. That small box known as our comfort zone is actually very confining and if we never venture out of it then we will never grow as we were meant to.   Continue reading
