The Micah Principle was born from an idea that came to me one day while mulling over in my head my life’s current difficulties. One of my favorite quotes from the Bible is in Micah 7.8. It says “Though I fall I will rise again”. I’ve fallen plenty of times in my life and will continue to do so. The important thing though is that I get back up. Every.Single.Time. Whatever life throws at us……bad relationships, divorce, illness, addiction, money difficulties, losing our home or job or anything else that knocks us down–we MUST get back up. Like a Phoenix, which is defined as “a person or thing that has become renewed or restored after suffering calamity or apparent annihilation”, we must all rise again. Getting back up again after we fall is exactly what The Micah Principle is.
Everyone has a story of how they’ve fallen but gotten back up. Your story may very well give someone else the strength to overcome their own difficulty. You are welcome to share your story anonymously or use your name if you wish. Requests for anonymity will be honored. It’s important that everyone in this world understand the importance of getting back up and persevering after adversity in their lives. Please consider sharing your story so that others may draw strength and inspiration from it. Thank you.
